When making a charitable contribution, it is important to know that your money will be used effectively to improve the quality of life in our community. The continued excellence in services at Carbon County Library System is a tribute to the generosity of the taxpayers and the support of people like you.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:
Direct Donations: We are grateful to receive donations to CCLS to purchase library materials, equipment or collaborate on programs. Donations should be made to the Carbon County Library Foundation- you will find information about the Foundation under the 'About the System' tab in the navigation menu of this web page.
Planned Giving: Including CCLS in your estate is a wonderful way to help ensure the library's future is vibrant for generations to come. Planned giving includes estate gifts and current gifts that may be in the form of a will, charitable trust or life insurance.
Library Endowment Fund: Through the Carbon County Library Foundation's Endowment Fund we are able to fund outstanding library programs, services and/or materials. A gift to the library's endowment is a gift in perpetuity to support library services.
Friends of the Library: The Friends are an enthusiastic group of library supporters who work hard each month to prepare for popular book sales. Proceeds are used to support library programs and services. Not all branches have a Friends group. Please call to inquire if this is a way for you to support the library system.
Memorial Contributions: Gifts in memory of or in honor of a loved one or friend are welcomed. Contributions may be made to the endowment or used to purchase library materials. For gifts of $25 or more, staff will carefully select materials and a commemorative bookplate will be placed in each item.
Donations of Items: Books, audiovisual materials and other items may be donated to any library location. Materials may be used in the librarys collection or put in the booksale. Items may be brought to the front desk, and library staff will help unload if assistance is needed. Please call ahead of time if you will need assistance.
