 In Libby, you can place a maximum of 10 holds and borrow up to 10 titles at a time, for a period of 14 days. The titles will be automatically returned at the end of the borrowing period. 

Libby is not a streaming service. Waiting  times can be long due to high demand and limited copies of popular  titles. The library's digital collection has a limited number of  licenses for each title, so you may need to wait until a copy becomes  available. 

 Renewals  are not allowed if other patrons are waiting for the  title. Once your borrowing period ends, the title will be automatically  returned. You can place a new hold if you want to borrow it again. 

 When you  place a hold on a title you'll be added to a waiting list.  Once the title becomes available, you'll receive a notification and have 3 days before the hold elapses to either borrow the item, choose a later delivery date, or cancel the hold.  

If your privilege is expired you wont have access to your holds which might elapse if no action is taken.

 To receive notifications when a hold becomes available, you need to  turn on notifications in the Libby app. Go to the app settings in your personal device and  enable notifications for holds, due dates, and other alerts. 

 Every cardholder's privileges expire yearly. This helps the library keep track  of any changes in contact information. Privileges can not be updated  online. Please call or email the library, with your library card number,  and staff will be happy to assist you.
