CARBON COUNTY LIBRARY FOUNDATION
Mission Statement
The mission of the Carbon County Library Foundation Inc. is to raise and administer funds to provide financial assistance to the Carbon County Library System and to promote literacy in Carbon County. The citizens of Carbon County continue to benefit from the Library Foundation’s funding through the services our libraries offer, which are designed to meet cultural, recreational, or educational needs.
The Carbon County Library Foundation Inc. exists to encourage and administer gifts, endowments and memorials for the general library programs, or any specific items for the libraries and to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community. It is not involved with the administration of the Library System itself.
Sponsorship program 2025
Libraries are vital to the freedoms we enjoy in America by providing free access to information through books, periodicals, digital media, and the internet. Libraries also provide locations for new parents and kids to find new friends, for adults and children to discover a new activity, for anyone to browse the internet at no cost, and to receive free assistance finding accurate information about health, job opportunities, and more.
The Carbon County Library Foundation supports the libraries across the county by funding the entirety of our digital collection, programming, new library materials, community outreach initiatives, free Inter Library Loans, and new technology and equipment for patrons. We also support our librarians through continuing education opportunities and staff appreciation programs.
To support these efforts, the Foundation has a tax-deductible sponsorship
program to businesses throughout Wyoming.

at Library and Foundation events and in all Carbon County Libraries.

The Library System and Foundation have unique sponsorship opportunities for those wishing to contribute more than $2000 annually.

Foundation Meetings
Members of the Foundation Board are invited to remain on the board as long as they feel they can be a productive member.
It is expected that each member will faithfully attend monthly meetings and contribute time and talent to fundraising
and other activities as it is possible to do so.

Meetings are generally on the 4th Tuesday of the month
at 6:30pm at the Rawlins Branch, and are open to the public. Please call 307-328-2618 to confirm.

Free little LIBRARIES PROGRAM
The Carbon County Library Foundation (CCLF) offers this program to help establish Free Little Libraries in the communities of our county.
The purpose of this program is to encourage reading in Carbon County.
