How It Works

  • Sign up at your local Carbon County Library and get a reading log to track your progress.
  • Count books and audiobooks, they all count toward your total!
  • Complete the challenge of reading 100 books by December 31st, and earn a prize as a reward for your achievement.
  • If you complete the 100-book challenge, you can continue to log books for the chance to compete for the Carbon County Reader of the Year title!

Reader of the Year

  • The patron who reads and logs the most books throughout the year will be crowned Carbon County Reader of the Year.
  • The winner will receive a special award/prize and be recognized across the county!
